Hey Everybody

    Friday night was a blur. I started out at my old job. We had a little party for Nancy, who is expecting in
June. Then me, Jim, Kevin and Emily went to Bogart's on 39th and Park. That place was nice. A good
after work crowd. They're trying to go for a late night crowd because they have a disco downstairs. It's
tough to get a good crowd in that part of midtown any time after 10 PM. Folks either head uptown or
downtown.
    I decided to head downtown to Fiddler's 14 for Bernadette Clifford's birthday. That's when things get
blurry. I remember talking to Maureen Monaghan who I haven't seen in a dog's age. I saw Mary and very
briefly Sheila. I went to the bathroom and when I came back I couldn't find Mary, Sheila or Maureen. So i
wandered down to the Villiage. Nothing looked that great and I was shot, so I headed home.
    Saturday night I was still hurtin from Friday, so I went home after work. That's what happens when you
get old.

    The big news story of the week was the Iraqi prisoner abuse scandal. Without getting into it too much,
that one soldier Lynndie England sure looks like a girl you'd love to bring home to mother doesn't she?
Married and divorced, and now pregnant with another man's child, all by the age of 21. Makes me feel
fortunate to have been brought up in NY, where cousins are to be seen and not touched (or married.)

    Ok I'm stuck. There's nothing going on here and I've hit a roadblock. Now would be a good time to
offer suggestions. Timmy if you want to rant against the President again, feel free 'cause I got nothing.
Ray, is Pepsi coming out with any new products? Mary, Frankie how are the wedding plans going?
Your's Anne? Ace, have you read any good books lately? Trish? Mikey? Keith? Mary McDep how are the
kids doing? Maggie? Jamesy? How are the babies doing Eddie and Bernadette, Ellen and Carl?
Maureen? Happy anniversary Krissy and Steve. Happy belated birthday Emma. Did I mention Woodsy's
going to be an uncle again in June? Anybody else getting engaged? Married? Having babies? Joann's
halfway to her doctorate and my sister Krissy is getting her Masters. Congratulations to them
both. Anyone one else in school? Sheila,Danielle and Lizzie are. God Bless 'em, don't know how they do
it. Nisha, Zaharah, Kim, Melissa? Any good cases?  Finnster, PaddyMAC, and Kris when are we partying
again? Caroline and Colleen, where the heck have you been? Anybody I missed? Mary? Patti-Ann,
Michelle? (Both of you) Melissa (both of you) Lisa? (Both of you) Write me back and let me know.

Not one of my best efforts I know, but even Babe Ruth struck out every once in a while you know what I
mean?
