Hey

Saturday night I got sent out at 1:30AM to Riverside Park after we got a tip that some kids were
drowning there. When I got there, I found out it was a false alarm. While I didn't want anyone to drown, I
was hoping for a dramatic rescue that I could write about. But alas it was nothing.
So I figured since I was going to pass it anyway, I hit the Saloon on 83rd and York. I got to hang out
with new Aunts Katherine, Jenny and Jessie.* Unfortunately, I had used most of my drinking money on
the cab up and back from Riverside Park, so my stay was short. The last time I was in the Saloon, I met
someone who ended up being a complete psycho, so I was laying low, but I should hit there more often.
It's just like Madison's, except they treat you like a human being.

One thing that I always gave George W. Bush over his father was his ability to better relate to the
common man. Yes, I know Dubya was born into more privilege than his father was and I know he hasn't
stepped foot into a grocery store for a quart of milk in his life. But I always thought he had a bit more
sensitivity. After all George HW Bush once told families of Vietnam MIA's to "sit down and shut-up" I
figured as dumb as George W. Bush is, he wouldn't be that insensitive.
Wrong!
The other night at a dinner in Washington, Bush showed a film of his crawling around the Oval Office
looking for Weapons of Mass Destruction. The ones he told us were just hours away from wiping us all
out. His spin doctors say he was just poking fun at himself
ha ha ha My sides!
Except that while he's crawling around the White House on his hands and knees like an idiot, real live
American soldiers are dying in Iraq looking for the real weapons. Which after a year of looking are
nowhere to be found. Meanwhile Osama Bin-Laden and Al-Qaeda are still at large, and still fully
operational. Maybe while the President is down on his hands and knees, he can find some decency and
self respect.

When you work on the weekends, you sometimes lose track of what day it is. So it's with my sincerest
apologies that I wish Happy Belated Birthdays to Kevin McGarvey (his second) to his daddy the Razor
(his 31st) and to Joann and Trish (their 21st+) Kevin's birthday was Saturday, while Ray, Jo, and Trish all
shared Sunday
*BABY NEWS- Jamesy and Stacy had a baby girl last Thursday. Abbey Frances Tubridy.
Congratulations all around.

Sorry this is so short. Will try to write more during the week
Have a Great Week
Bill
